Grimoire of Umbral Lore

Traits

Magical, Unholy, Darkness, Shadow, Void, Death

Appareance

the grimoire is a hefty, leather-bound book with an ominous, dark aura that seems to emanate from its very pages. The cover is etched with arcane symbols that seem to writhe and shift when observed closely. The pages within are made of a peculiar material that appears to be a blend of vellum and shadow itself, and the text is written in a deep, ink-black script that glows faintly in dim light.

The Grimoire was created by a Zorn's high priest.

Drawbacks

Unwanted Attention: The malevolent aura of the tome attracts undead creatures, making them more likely to notice and be drawn toward the bearer. This effect is particularly pronounced in areas with a strong connection to the Shadow Plane or necromantic energies.

Whispering Shadows: The cursed book occasionally whispers disturbing secrets to the bearer, inducing vivid nightmares and paranoia. This may lead to Wisdom saving throws to resist the psychological toll. It also tempts the bearer to use the Tome as often as possible.
